originally drafted by attorney John B. Alward, a former
Captain in the U.S. Air Force, whose valor and courage under enemy fire
saved the lives of his air crew by successfully landing a bomber that had
been almost destroyed by enemy fire. In September 1989, Mr. Alward's
life was tragically ended prematurely by an errant driver. |
